    Default GameStuff.ca - SUPER plans - 1gbit plans / HUGE HDD Space

Ok so i've been contemplating expanding into the 1gbit game... but i would like opinions from current and potential customers on what i've come up with. This isnt an offer/advertising thread YET. I wanted opinions and didnt want to spam the main discussion forum.

Basically these plans will be DOUBLE of what our current plans are. You will pay double but get double the space, and 10x the speed. These are in no way meant to be CHEAP plans. My focus is not cheap garbage but rather QUALITY service and servers. Here is what our plans will most likely look like. feedback appreciated:

    Super l337 Plan - $60/month
    Intel Xeon i7 W3520 - 625GB HDD - 3GB DDR3 RAM - Unlimited Download/Upload/Free OVH internal network traffic - 1 IP Address - 1gbit Connection Up/Down*
*Shared between a Maximum of 4 users

    Super UBER Plan - $100/month
    Intel Xeon i7 W3520 - 1250GB HDD - 6GB DDR3 RAM - Unlimited Download/Upload/Free OVH internal network traffic - 1 IP Address - 1gbit Connection Up/Down*
*Shared between a Maximum of 2 users

Thoughts? Would you upgrade if your currently a customer? Would you come aboard with these offers?

Looks a little light on the ram to me as ppl who want those bigger drives will be memory hogs. I had to do some tweaking to my leet plan seedbox to quit getting memory errors and better response from the webui.

Still doesn't look to bad to me, but hey I can afford it anyway.

It works wells for the $50 plan users, but for us on the 1337 plan it's a bit of a jump. Personally I have no need for > 300GB and most that need significantly more go for their own server.

I'd love a 1gbit line gamestuff, however 100$ is too steep for me. I would def go for the 60$ leet plan. 500-600gb is plenty of storage for me.

I've gotten a few PM's saying that this is way out of peoples price ranges..

Keep in mind I still do have my normal offerings in the $15-$50 mark for 100mbit boxes and will always have those. This is meant as an ADDITIONAL offering and as stated above is not at all meant to be cheap :)

I want to keep the same winning formula which makes a gamestuff box great, very low users per server. This is why i can't offer a $30 1gbit plan, because the cost is too great and i will not ever overload our servers. :)

thanks for all the input guys!

No offense, but those prices are ridiculous. I don't know what other seedbox providers are offering but I can rent that server for 79,99€/month (+49,99€ Setup) from OVH.ie directly. So I'd rather get one with a friend and pay ~65€ for the first month and ~40€ for any following month. That's way cheaper than anything you're offering ...

To be honest, you really shouldn't be working off huge profit margins. The server costs you 110 USD and you are charging quite a sum.

    Dont forget your 21-23% VAT.
The cheapest Gbit plan works out to 135$ USD a month after taxes.

The first months price including setup is about 215$ USD.

The your looking at 107~ the first month, and 70~ after that.

Plus you also need to have the knowledge to set up a seedbox - do you know how?
    Didn't think so.

Gamestuff doesn't have to pay any VAT for his servers: Canada and US pay VAT? - OVH Forum

And yes, I know how to use my server as a seedbox. It's not exactly rocket science if you do some reading ...
