The cheapest Gbit plan works out to 135$ USD a month after taxes.

The first months price including setup is about 215$ USD.

The your looking at 107~ the first month, and 70~ after that.

Plus you also need to have the knowledge to set up a seedbox - do you know how?
    Didn't think so.
Again, not trying to be an asshole. Only Europeans pay VAT.

Install deluge[especially easy on ubuntu as they have a special repo for it]
    install vsftpd

Tada! The barebones seedbox complete in under 5 minutes.
Don't make assumptions. Not all users are ignorant. Give me another 5 and I would have VNC up too.

I was not intending to be presumptuous (infact I was drunk earlier) I apologize for the tone. However just because you two and I are more technologically inclined does not mean everyone else is. And if you guys look around his prices are right in line for what you get everywhere else.

600 gb at evoboxes? 65 USD
    1150gb at feral? 75 USD and a 3TB limit
    860gb at pulsedmedia? 90 USD

I believe the storage is way too much for someone and may become useless after all...it could lower the price a bit if you had less storage. I pay 40$ for a Gb box (250GB - 7 users max) and although users are too many (for me), i have great speeds almost all the time and price is more reasonable...

From personal experience i would say that most importand is how many users are sharing the same HDD and not the same 1Gbit connection.

If you are alone in the HDD and you share the same connection with another 6 users most of the time you will see better speed than if you were only 4 users on the same 1Gbit line but all of you were on the same HDD.

As for the prices although they are out of my budget they look reasonable i think especially the $60 one.

WOW, did not expect this to turn into a flame war.

    ok a couple things,

    1. if you know how to setup your own seedbox, awesome. Do you need to shit on my thread for those who don't? No, Please leave.

    2. As said before. the plans above are called SUPER for a reason. they are my cream of the crop, top of the line boxes. There will never be 8 people on a server that has the name GameStuff. its against our service standards. This is why we have grown to almost 40 servers in the past 3 months.

I've decided to do a small trial run so if anyones interested please PM me on here. Anyone else whos here to cause grief. Go away.

More options for seedoxes are a good thing. I am sure the market will determine if these offers continue.

I might be interested in Super UBER Plan once my current evoboxes platinum expires. Anyway, will the bandwidth be truly unlimited or there's a cap after a certain TBs?

They are unlimited, but follow OVH's rules. Which means after 10 TB's traffic continues but at a very reduced rate.

I left that out of the top thread because ALOT of people do not realize that 10TB of traffic on OVH is equal to ALOT more simply because OVH to OVH network traffic does not count. I will be testing the 1gbit boxes before releasing to the public to make sure this limit suffices.

I have never seen anyone ever hit the "cap".
