Default Restart Windows without restarting PC

When you click on the SHUTDOWN button, make sure to simultaneous press SHIFT Button. If you hold the Shift key down while clicking on SHUTDOWN button, you computer would restart without restarting the Computer. This is equivalent to term "HOT REBOOT".

If that works, then that's an awesome feature... And should've been a lot common... Will try that out, when at my desktop, currently using mobile... Although I doubt if it works or not. Let somebody else confirm till then.

I'm curious to see how this differs from killing explorer and restarting it.
