Hi all
This is my first post here
i just discovered this new and it was so helpful
it called Kakewalk
why this way?????
because you will not install any HACKINTOSH version on your pc
You will just install the original version of MAC OSX LEOPARD on your pc
why Should I do that????
it's much more stable and you can run almost programs via this way without facing any problems
example:
i used to install MAC Via Chameleon boot
it was good but i faced - and not only me - programs crashed
for me i faced FCP and APT crashed
so i went to find a stable and perfect way to install MAC on PC
and fortunately i found it
let's start with the installation:
Things you Should Have:
1- A good PC hardware specifications:
example for my spesifications:
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR BIOS:F10
Intel Core2 Quad Q8300
KingMax FBGA Mars 2GB DDR2
eVGA GeForce GTS 250 512MB
Samsung 500GB SATA-II, Partiton 1 HFS+ (Journaled), GUID
For Best performance you should have one of the following Motherboards:
Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR
Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LR
Gigabyte EP45-UD3R
Gigabyte EP45-UD3P
Gigabyte EX58-UD5
Gigabyte EX58-UD3R
Gigabyte EX58A-UD7
Gigabyte EP45-UD3L
Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
Gigabyte P55M-UD2
MSI P55M-GD45
Gigabyte G41M-ES2L
Gigabyte EX58-UD4P
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
PS: don't try to install SL if you don't have one of the mentioned MB
2- MAC Snow leopard Original Installation Disc
you can find it on any torrent tracker
i don't know if it's allowable to put a torrent link here
if anyone had a problem in finding it just PM me or post here
it's about 6.6 GB so you should have DVD 9
3- Download The KAKEWALKe Boot From here:
Kakewalk — Updates and thoughts.
you will find the following
click on download
then
click on download
download it
unzip it
burn it on CD
and we are ready to go:
Now
INSTALLING MAC OSX ON PC
first we need to configure the bios
there is no much as Hackintosh Installing
first enter the bios by pressing Del bottom
you may have to do the following while making the recommended BIOS adjustments
1- USB Keyboard Function: set to Enable
2- USB Mouse Function: set to Enable
change the following settings in the Integrated Peripherals
1- ICH SATA Control Mode -> Set it to “AHCI”
2- eSATA Ctrl Mode -> Set it to “AHCI”
then change the following setting in the Power Management
1- HPET Mode -> Set to “64-bit mode”
and don't forget to change the first boot drive To CD/DVD in the standard CMOS Features
now insert the KAKEWALK CD that you burned before in the DVD drive
start it up
it will show you the CD boot drive
eject the Kakewalk cd
put the Mac SL DVD
press F5 for refresh
press enter
The disc boot up can take a few minutes, so you'll need to be patient
Before you go ahead with the installation you need to format your hard drive, so once the disc boots, go to Utilities -> Disk Utility in the menu bar. Find the hard drive in the sidebar you want to install Leopard to, select it, then go to the Partition tab, and select a 1 partition volume scheme, name it whatever you want (I called mine Leopard), and choose the Mac OS Extended (Journal-ed) format. Now click the Options button to set the partition scheme. You can choose the partition scheme as either Master Boot Record or GUID (in my previous instructions you needed to set it as MBR). I used GUID
Click Apply, let it complete the partitioning, and then quit Disk Utility and head back to the Installer. Hit Continue at the Welcome screen, agree to the terms,
PS. please note that it's recommended if you have other HDD, you should switched off just not to be confused and it will lead you to format another HDD
now just follow the instructions and install the Mac OSX SL
and when it's finished just restart the computer and Voila
now after restarting it wont start up the MAC OSX
so you should reput the KAKWALK cd again in the driver
then it will show you the Apple Logo on bootscreen
press on it
it will enter the OS
after finishing your personal informations
open the Kakwalk CD
and install the Kakwalk BOOT LOADER from the CD
you are done
i will answer all the questions about any issues you faced
just ask me
now for the drivers I'm preparing another thread for it
you might not facing any drivers problems
if you like my post
just make a reputation
thank you all for reading
Best Regards
