Thread: Bypass Vista-Seven password

Hi everybody,

There is already a tutorial about this matter here :

but i'd like to present to you another method because the first one didn't work for me.

The first step is the same as described in the first tuto, meaning you also have to start by replacing Utilman.exe by cmd.exe.

When you have done that, reboot and as described before press the windows key + U wich will open cmd.exe.

Then type :

net user buckyshort /add
"this will create a new user called " buckyshort " of course you can use any name.

net user buckyshort torrent
"we have just created a password called " torrent " for the user " buckyshort "

net localgroup administrators buckyshort /add
"this will add the user buckyshort to the administrators group, note that if your OS is not in english, you'll have to replace " administrators " by the word in your language : example in my case in french it's " administrateurs "



Now, you have created a new user and granted it with admin rights

so all you have to do is to reboot and log into the new user

account with the password you just created, you'll have full admin

rights and will be able to reset the original admin password you

lost using the control panel !

This is not a tutorial made to do harm ! it's purpose is to help people !

Very good tutorial, a friend of mine who has vista used this and it worked :D Still (call me a classic) but I prefer XP :)
