Follow this guide and you'll turn your old crappy desktop with that grass field and dull blue colors into this
Don't worry if you don't like this one in specific, you can mix and match themes and wallpapers as you see fit once you set it up.
First off, you need WindowsBlinds. You can find it on piratebay, I'm not allowed to link it. You should have no trouble downloading it.
Once you download it, install it, close the activation window when it prompts you(twice) In order to crack it, you must go to Task Manager>Processes and end the process WBINST (or something like that, you'll know it when you see it. When you do that, run the Patch in the FIX folder, click patch and locate a .dll in the directory where you installed Windows Blinds. When you do, click save licence, and save it in the same directory with installed WBlinds.
You got quite a few themes in the folder, and you can add them to Windows Blinds by running the main window> Look and Feel> Visual Styles> Add more visual styles
You can also experiment with Transparency and Blur, Fonts and other settings.
I use Eminence (it's the one in the screenshot above) (done by Zero), but you can download more here http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.as...=1&sort=rating
Once you choose the theme you like the most, time for a wallpaper.
This is a great site for free good looking wallpapers
High Definition Quality Wallpapers
If you use Winamp, I suggest you get ClassicPro ( a sort of an addon for winamp), allows you to get all kinds of cool skins for it, I personally use RIPoste, fits in nicely with the rest of my visual setup.
(sorry bout the size of that last one, crappy image host)
And, if you use Firefox, I'd recommend getting the "any color" addon, that lets you color the parts of the firefox window as you see fit (not exactly artistic, but you can pull of nice color combos with the WBlinds skins)
If you want something artistic for firefox, get Persona for Firefox (Any Color and Persona will NOT work at the same time for Firefox, you have to disable one for the other to work properly)
Here's the link to the firefox addons download site https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/
You could also get ObjectDock, so you can put all the icons you need into a retractable(or static, it's customizable) bar on the top, right, left, or bottom side of your screen. I'm sure there are plenty of well seeded torrents on The Pirate Bay. Best if you find the crack for the 1.9 version that only requires you to replace one file in the installation directory.
That's about it.
