Thread: Windows 7 God Mode!

This is basically an advanced control panel for windows 7

Heres a neat Windows 7 trick thats been doing the rounds on the Internet. Should also work on Vista, if for some weird reason you re still using that. It enables GodMode, a term devised by the Microsoft development team, which provides a single place to access all Windows settings without needing to browse options and folders in the Control Panel.

To use it:

1. Create a new folder.
2. GodMode windowRename the folder to

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}



(note that you can change the GodMode text, but the following period and code number are essential).

3. The folder icon will change double click it to show the GodMode window

I forgot about this, Its a nice way to have access to everything with a click.

I though that we could turn off or on every single app that exists on win7 lol

that d be Linux mode, but it would be great to rid windows of the useless crap that run on the background indeed!

Thanks a bunch, this finally got my UAC to turn off (for some reason doing it in control panel wasn't working even as an administrator). Saved me a countless amount of clicking those stupid dialog boxes.
