This actually not R.I.P. The signup screen is open now but I actually need help to determine if indeed this is open. I cannot do it to avoid dupe accounts. You should be able to signup by providing a user name and password or/and with any openid providers.

RARBG is a very large Bulgarian true ratioless (upload/download ratio is not even tracked) general purpose (but adult biased with about 20% of the torrents in the XXX category) semi-private tracker that is based in Sweden.



RARBG.com site is bilingual Bulgarian/English, with most of the content and descriptions in English and is currently ranked as one of the top 2000 global sites (according to Alexa reports), that is better than TL or TD. See http://hqindex.net/rarbg.com for more stats

No membership is required to browse or download the torrents so it can be categorized as a semi-public tracker at this time. So why you should sign up? Just in case it might go fully private, which might happen with the new laws lurking at the European horizon.

After I 'logged in' with Google it allowed me to sign up.

After a quick look around they're definitely XXX based. It also looked (quickly) like some of the torrents used off-site trackers (I'm not sure if they're public trackers or not).

Thanks dege and iMAGE. We can confirm now the signup is possible. Indeed this is more like Demonoid than other trackers but they have internal releases and uploader team so it is most likely a hybrid concept. Also to avoid being "spammed" by adult torrents is best to move directly to the category of interest.

Anybody tried just entering a username and password and see what happens (not an Open ID just a random ID)?

last time i checked this tracker was a public tracker, you only need acc to updoad...

How do you upload there, do you need to write to them before you can upload or unless your rank is being changed, because I couldn't find anything like forum or faq on their site... just downloading... but from what i see it looks like an XXX based tracker...
