Over the last few weeks, there have been a lot of changes to LearnBits' invite system. The LB team has decided that the invite system is now closed indefinitely (or until they are convinced otherwise).

However, that does *not* mean that you cannot still sign up for the site. It is still relatively easy to get an account if you're willing to apply via IRC. The process is simple: go into LearnBits' IRC channel, and speak to an admin about registering.

Many of us had tons of invites left to give - but unfortunately, are now going to waste. Don't be discouraged though, just head on over to their IRC channel if you're interested in joining.

so why is it in the open sign ups section?? this should be moved to a invite only section

LearnBits no longer uses invites. It's open as long as you head over to their IRC channel and apply for an account (much like using a registration form - which resonates much more with open-signups than it does an invite system).

if you cant log on to there site and click create account without having to apply then its not open irc apps are not guaranteed same as what.cd its hit or miss whether you get in to me this is not open sign ups
