This song is very famous for it's length. It is this little under 40 minutes because at it's time was the rule that any release longer than 40 must be considered album and not single.
Also one of first Ambient House songs ever. Love the dubby parts!

My longest song is Kansas's "Incomudro (Hymn To The Atman)"
from their 1975 Song For America album. It has a run time of 12:12.

I wonder if anybody's gonna mention Echoes by Pink Floyd :) That Kansas post above reminded me of them...

I would say that "Dope Smoker" by Sleep is the longest track I currently have in my library. It clocks in at 1:03:32

Last Call by Kanye West is 12:40... in my library but it has no plays
