    Bach, Vivaldi, Paganini, Handel, I love em all!

    Hilarious a capella.

    Vadrum is pretty awesome too. Plays on a drumset to classical tunes (and others)

    I saw vadrum months ago. The guy is awesome. Didn't know that you can play something like classical music on drums in that manor!

    I like Vivaldi's four seasons! Just brilliant!

    I absolutely adore classical music. I really like the baroque period, but am also fond of composers like Brahms, Shostakovich (fabulous music), Rachmaninoff, Bruch, and many many more.
    If you want to see some more funny videos on classical music, you should check these, they're pretty hilarious:

    Yay! It's awesome knowing that I'm not the only one that enjoys classical.
    The Rachmaninov video is hilarious! I'll watch the other ones later.

    Thanks for the video on Brandenburg concerto. Beautiful!

    Kempff's beethoven interpretation is a classic one :) I like the clip that goes with the Summer by I Musici. Incidentally, do you know the interpretation of the four seasons by Il Giardino Armonico (what an outstanding ensemble that is!), or better even the interpretation by Carmignola and the Venice Baroque Orchestra. The last one is really the best interpretation ever in my opinion. I'm seeding it now at Waffles =]
    Btw have you seen this before, I think it's pretty funny:
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_JnzyGH0m8o]YouTube - Vivaldi-La Notte (The Nightmare)[/ame]

    This is my favorite classical album at the moment:

    I absolutely adore all albums by Pluhar and her ensemble L'Arpeggiata. Think Via Crucis is their best so far.

    BTW I really liked the clip you posted of Rossini by the King's Singers.

    Huge fanatic of classical music. My fave would have to be Johannes Brahms

    Although it's this piece here by Beethoven that got me into classical and to this day in my opinion is the greatest piece of classical work ever created.

    Hey Enigma78, good to hear there's another Brahms fan out here =]
    So I thought I'd share just a few of my favorite pieces:

    Symphony no.4, Kleiber - this is my all time favorite Brahms piece and the best interpretation I ever heard! Shame of the miserable YouTube quality!
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhPeAPK2Ih4&feature=related]YouTube - Brahms Symphony N.4 (1/6)[/ame]

    Violin concerto, mov1, Heifetz
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OW_83tDtQOc]YouTube - Brahms Violin Concerto First Movement (1/2)[/ame]

    Violin concerto, mov3, Perlman
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OYYBJbI59g]YouTube - Brahms Violin Concerto 3rd movement, Itzhak Perlman[/ame]

    Concerto for violin & cello, Oistrakh & Rostropovich
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4WkGJbwSdM&feature=related]YouTube - Brahms Dble Cto Oïstrakh Rostropovitch Kondrashin 1/1[/ame]

    Maxim Vengerov's interpretations are awesome too. Beautifully rendered, subtle and virtuoso at the same time (but they're not on YouTube).
    These are just a few I wanted to share. But Brahms has written so many more magnificent pieces! I agree, the moonlight sonata is a perfect piece of music, but the greatest piece? Hmm, not for me, maybe I heard it too many times and got tired of it... beautiful piece nonetheless!
