Thread: When, where and how do you prefer listening to music?

What do you think is the best way to enjoy music?

I personally LOVE headphones because of the level of intimacy it provides. I like to sit down in my couch, close my eyes, put headphones on and just forget about everything else for a while...



Any time of the day (or night) is perfect for me...

What about you?

There's no particular time of the day for me, just whenever I feel like listening to some music. I also like to blast some loud music once in a while, but I prefer my headphones since they provide the highest fidelity of sound to me.

What's the model of your HPs? (For fun, I own : AKG k401, Senn. Hd580, IE8, and some custom UE10)

I have a Senn PCX 450 and a Logitech G35 which I use for gaming. In terms of speakers all I have is a set of AL VS4121.

Most of my listening is done through a stereo that is connected to my computer or run through my ipod when I'm in the car. I don't use headphones that often, only when I need to.

When: Anytime I feel like I want to or need a mood change
Where:Anywhere-I ensure that I have my music handy whenever and where ever
How:Headphones, when I'm away from home. Speakers if I'm @ home

For me almost any place is excellent to listen to music... I just love it so much!
The usually places where i enjoy it, though, are my home, either on my PC or my home stereo, and also in the car or in my Phone/MP3/whatever...
As for the time of the day, it depends on my mood... So i can't really point out a particular time... When i feel like, i go for it... And most of the times are good

Music for me is a click.. anytime I want to or feel like or have nothing else to do.. I can listen to music.. not a particular option from where either.. it is like just a natural part of life..

I only listen to music via internet radio. I use my speakers when I'm alone (just to add some noise but not so loud that my neighbors will hear it). I don't use earphones as I don't feel like damaging my ear too much. I don't feel like playing music on my hdd; it's a waste for me. Just streaming all the way I can anytime.
