Thread: Best indie group ????

It's difficult to pick a best indie group because the genre is so broad.
I would pick Death Cab for Cutie.
Currently I'm listening to a lot of The XX and Beach House.

edit : Since the one-man-bands issue is brought up, i'll have to reccomend David Kitt to all. He is from Ireland, usually plays solo in giggs (saw him last year as supporting act for the Tindersticks). He plays a guitar and uses 1-2 laptops while on stage (drumkit playback mostly or some loops). Usually plays solo, though i think i saw a video of him with some woman singing or something (not 100% sure on this). If i'm not terribly mistaken he produced his music alone up to his third or fourth album (or through some really small label) and then he joined Rough Trade (i bet we all love that label, right?). Anyway, whoever wants more info on the artist he can just google for his bio and videos all over the web, i just felt i should share his name :)
