For me it was Pemberton in BC back in 2008. I think with it being the inaugaral year (as well as the original security team quitting the day of the even when the saw how the fencing system was structured) and the lineup just made it killer. It didn't hurt that instead of paying $10 for a beer you could walk to the town liquor store in 15 min, come back and just throw the liquor over the fence to some people when no one was lookin ;)

Easy one - Glastonbury 2000. David Bowie headlining and playing a set of all - and I mean ALL - his greatest hits live for the first time in many years.

Peace and Love - Borlänge - Sweden

Its a week long festival that usualy gets alot of well known artist, over the years the festival have had names like Alice Cooper, Immortal Technique, Jay-Z and many more.

The festival is mostly about Music and respect for your fellow man, its a really peacefull festival even tho its like 60 000 people that visit it and that number keeps on growing, its barely any violence and people are generaly very nice and open minded about EverythinG.

So if you ever visit sweden in the start of July be shure to take a peek =)

I haven't been to many, but T-mobile's InMusic festival is great. This year they have Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Rise Against, Billy Idol and many more.

After all the raves and the bonnaroos and cochellas, even 1 burning man, my favorite is still Woodstock 94, it was just so much fun, we broke in and then wandered upon a broken and battered thrown away tent that was full of booze, I just remember sitting on top of some sort of a tanker thingie and watching The Red Hot Chilli Peppers while I was drinking whiskey for the first time.

EDC 2007 was the best for me. Just large enough to get that huge massive feel, but small enough to still walk around in. John B fucking killed the DnB stage there.

EDC '08 was when my fiancee proposed to me, though, so that year still holds something special to me, though I was a bit too throttled to remember it.

Other than that, I usually just hit up the local massives and all the smaller parties (I work as promoter for some event companies), so I'm usually at all these things to work.
