dreamtheater are great music players. mindblowing. don't like the vocals though

Not as good as their past efforts, vastly better than what trend-whores nowadays call 'metal'.

Awesome prog metal - as for the album, it's been such a long time since I've heard it I'll have to give it another spin to see what I think.
As takeshi2121 mentions above, LaBrie's vocals are an acquired taste (although I never did really have a problem with his voice).

a little too 'commercialized' and a tad mainstream, i'd say... not surprising considering their move to roadrunner. but it is definitely giving DT more mainstream exposure so, good for them =)
