Thread: Country - Love it or hate it?

i really hate it ... i mean i listen to almost every genre ... no joke ... except 2 ... country and folk

I grew up with country and some how managed to grow to really dislike it. There is only a handful of songs I like. Indian Outlaw is my favorite from the genre.

I agree that the people who make it, make it less tolerable. (My mother is one of them) But the noise itself is irritating. I can assimilate it to cat crowing and dog howling.

Country music is definatly the worst for me, I can't stand any of it.

I like country. I've grown up with it, and it sounds good to me.

Hate it!!!

Closest thing country related that I liked growing up was Hank Williams Jr ... never really seems like full on country to me. However now as I'm getting older, I'm hating country less.. WTF IS THAT.

I don't like because it's simply not my genre.
