Thread: Who are your favorite artists/Genre? and why?

I love house music. The specific genre, Comercial House.
Why? I love movement, it remembers me partys, and the melody makes me happy.

I tend to go through phases anymore when it comes to specific genres of music. However the one that always remains true is hard/heavy metal.

As far as favorites I can't really say as I enjoy certain bands from certain eras of every genre I prefer. Techno is high on my list as well more so the older stuff than the newer stuff personally.

One thing that I have been quite fond of for about 2-3 years now is the mixture of metal with an orchestra/orchestral sound. One band in particular is Night Wish. Something about there style of metal with the orchestra/opera type sound I find very appealing.

Same for techno as I have from some wonderful mixes using an operatic sound as well.

electronic/indie/rock - coldplay, keane, mew, new order, slowdive
caribou, four tet, dj koze, stimming, hot chip, yeasayer, peaches
house - swedish house mafia, djs from mars .. any release from ministry of sound and ultra, kontor (more electro)
psytrance - infected mushroom, astrix, EVERYTHING from Simon Posford

thus these styles really fits, enjoy it very much!

armin van buuren and trance. but mostly i listen all kinds of good music. mostly three days grace, breaking benjamin, lil wayne, eminem, tori amos, and classical stuff too.

Well I love almost all kinds of metal specially thrash, black and death.

I like most genres.. almost everything except classic... BUT I really love the Country <3 Love the lyrics, love the guitar, and again.. the lyrics :)

I love Rock music ( ballads , progressive ) and my favorite artist is Freddie Mercury ( Queen ) because i have a collection with him and i listen his music .

I love House music aswell, but I'm week to Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. Great bands!
