Default Rare Albums and Obscure Bands

I consider myself to be well versed in many types of music, or at least I like to think so. Every so often Ill discover some rare Album from a band which nobody knew existed.

    2 in particular are:

-Steve Stevens and the "Atomic Playboys" or "Flamenco a Go-Go" albums
    -Md 45. "The Craving"

These are albums that left me wanting more and yet these gems remain widely unknown. I was curious if you guys had other gems in attempt to expand my musical horizons.

I think KiloWatts is one that doesn't get enough notice. Their album Ground State is amazing, especially if you find it in flac quality. :d

They also did some stuff with another artist named Vanek, and together they sound awesome as well. Can find that stuff by looking for Kilowatts & Vanek.

They aren't really either hard to find, but they don't get noticed much.

Last.fm is a great place to find such bands. I recently discovered three artists that I can't get enough of. Sin Fang Bous, The Cloud Hymn and Cedarwell have given me hope that new music isn't as bad as what's playing on the radio these days.

I also have an account at 8tracks.com and rateyourmusic.com

I usually use soulseek and blogs to find music. I haven't been able to procure an invite to Waffles or What.CD. Two places where I'm dying to get in.

Here's a few links that could prove helpful:
