Thread: Songs that Trigger a Memory

For many music is something very significant, sometimes a song is best to associate with a memory. I myself am just like that I hear certain songs and they make me think about certain things that have happen to me in the past. So I ask you all this.........

1. Do you have a song that triggers a memory
2. what memory is it (if you dont mind sharing)




To answer my own questions I have a few songs

Green Day - Time of your Life was my graduation song from high school. It was a very important step in my life graduating and moving on and that song always makes me thing of graduation day.



Nickelback - Far Away is a song that reminds me of the time i had to spend away from my hubby it was a hard time it always brought a tear to my eyes because I so badly wanted to be with him but we had to be apart for a little bit of time.

Rascall Flatts - My wish makes me think about my son because i honestly want the best for him and i want him to be able to live as happy as possible and not suffer and be successful in life. so that he can do more than i ever did.

Simple Plan - Perfect This reminds me of my constant issues with my parents that till this day are not perfect and i know i am not perfect and i cant be perfect like they wanted me to be.

Kc & Jo Jo - All my life This is dedicated to my hubby because he really is all my life

my list is endless of memorable songs but I want to know what are yours? maybe i can get more songs in my collection that I do not yet have.

I dont really have any specific song that triggers a memory besides
uhmmm...

A Day To Remember - If it means a lot to you : this just brings up a memory of my exs lol

For me mainly i have certain genres that bring up memories of when i used to listen to that type of music back in the early days :P

And i could definitely relate to you in your memory from the simple plan song lol :001_smile:
