Thread: Country Music? Give me your Thoughts

Now I know many people do not like to admit that they are into country. I happend to be one of them. I did a search for country music and came out empty. I NEVER liked country till my boyfriend played me a few songs. Now I am not a total fan and I wont turn my back on rock but I do like some songs.
So tell me............................

There are some country songs I like but I think it's only because it's hovering over the line of pop and country. Like Carrie Underwood, who is pretty pop-ish. Songs that talk about horses and stuff I'm not into...haha. But like you said, "Live Like You Were Dying" is a good song. It used to inspire me when it came out. I like Shania Twain and Jewel sometimes as well. But they have very soft songs....:)

I really hate country music , I don't like this kind of music at all

I prefer Metal instead

I have not really been exposed to it much, I just went to Country Jam recently. It wasn't bad music, I just prefer alternative rock music. However, there are country music songs, that I do like.

Not my cup of tea. I like the eagles, but they're hardly country.
