Default Have you ever heard any classical ?

Classical music is the oldest genre of instrumental music, and music overall. These music are great, wonderful and unforgetable legends, and they are listened even 400 years after tehir creation. Me, for myself ive heard many classical music, since I play piano and i want to listen to every kind of music. To say the truth they are enjoyable and many djs, rockers, popers etc have been inspired by them.
    Now the question :
Have you ever heard any classical music ?
If you dont its not something weird, but if you do, than tell us what you think

There was a time I was even passionate about classical music and I was listening to it a lot (I was 17 or something) for about a year. I still like it of course and get back to it from time to time when I'm tired of metal. Tchaikovsky and Schubert are my favs.

I have some jazz and classic tracks in my computer. I usually just use them for studying.

    Mmm, Classical rocks :P

I enjoy Chopin, Paganini, Rachmaninoff, Vivaldi, Yo-Yo Ma, and many others. I like Classical game soundtracks too.

I used to listen to Rachmaninoff when I played WarcraftIII, but I found myself getting frustrated (as what the music emotionally sounds) and for that I changed to Chopin, which really soothes the soul.

I have listened to some, but it is even more inspirely to play it yourself on a piano for instance.
I play Für Elise, Moonlight Sonata and the theme from Shindler's List.
I especcially love the theme from Schindler's List: YouTube - Schindler's List Theme Song - Piano
and i have been very inspired by John Williams who has made a lot good classical music, most is used in movies like Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, etc.
It is such a good way to calm down a moment if you are busy.

No, it really isn't. It was preceded by baroque and then renaissance and medieval...

Anyway, yes I love it. I'm an amateur orchestral musician. It's all about Mahler. Or Bruckner... Wagner too. Oh, and Tchaikovsky. Sibelius is nice. Rachman is pretty sweet too. The list goes on.

Classical is what a lot of Jazz and Rock is based off of, any dedicated music fan should at least give some of the better known works a listen.
