Default Keeping track of favorite music

I find myself listening to a large amount of music daily, to the point that I have a hard time keeping track of the music I enjoyed the most and would like to listen to over and over again.

My question to you is, how do you keep track of your favorite music? I sometimes tweet to myself when I find something I really enjoy, or I use last.fm at times and mark my favorite songs.

I've had the same problem, but declined to the solution for myself. I had music on my old discs, my external drives, my download folder and various torrent albums here and there. But something that really worked for me was google music.

I have a good collection and have even added some new albums. I like a way google has arranged it all and it is always easy to find. My music collection is always online. I can arrange it for artist, genre, latest played, latest added, albums, etc.

If you have not tried it, give it a try. I will gladly give you an invitation if they are open for signup.

Google music indeed sounds like a very interesting option. I will definitely try it out. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

Hmm.. yes, I already have a premium account at Grooveshark, so maybe I could put some time into sorting out the new music I listen to and rate the music I like the most etc. It's a bit of a hassle though since I don't want to upload the music I listen to, to my premium account, but will have to upload it via another account and then link it to my premium account. Why? Since Grooveshark wants to protect its members from breaking any laws (because all the music I upload will be accessible by others too), after one copyright notice, the account in question will have its upload rights disabled.

Edit: Besides, let's see how long Grooveshark will last. They are having a pretty bad time now with the law.

I will have to try google music out though, and hopefully someone will be willing to let me try out to sign up to its service via a proxy.

Edit2: I wonder, would it be possible to upload your music from your seedbox to google music (i.e. using the command line in linux, or perhaps, is there another way to do it, for instance to transload or fxp it up to google music)?
