    Hey guys..

Me and some friends of mine are planning to go out on a trip to a place, which boasts of a load of (ehm) recreational pharmaceuticals Would love to carry some awesome music to help the "trip"..please list some songs for the same..preferably rock..trance will do fine..but make sure the music sounds good even when we are sober :D

    Thanks :)

Hmm, the only smoking songs I know are somewhat rap based.

Kottonmouth Kings-- not sure of the song. Haven't listened to their modern stuff, just the CD that came out in 2000 or so when I was in HS.

Marijuanna by Kid Cudi--sort of rap, but not really.

Edit: Ahh, I thought you meant smoking themed songs. Nevermind :D

Anything that you enjoy listening to man, don't be under the illusion that you need certain music to help with a trip. If you like the beetles then trip to them. If you are someone who doesn't listen to a lot of music though than I have some suggestions:
Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Shpongle, vibe tribe, Bonobo, Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, Clark, Eskmo, Nujabes, STS9.
Anything in the psytrance realm is fantastic, any kind of IDM is usually good, psychedelic rock like Pink Floyd is fantastic as well.

I agree any thing you enjoy listening to. I'll suggest a couple more Tool, A Perfect Circle, Muse, sublime, bob marley, the mars volta, the doors, thievery corporation, team sleep, rusted root, and deftones. Some that I mentioned have sort of a "trippy" sound, and others are just amazing. You probably know most of the bands I mentioned, but hopefully I suggested some new music for ya.

Great song by Jefferson Starship, Miracles. Live at the 2004 cannabis cup, Amsterdam. BTW, Sativa Cup is the only cup that matters.

You my friend have great taste! Mars Volta, thievery cooperation, deft ones, tool and muse are all favorites of mine. Are you a Radiohead fan as well?? By the way If you want an insane sound to trip to you should try some Radiohead songs-namely anything Kid A or Amnesiac. But mind you it will probably do your head in haha.
