I had always wanted to get to this critically acclaimed series sometime and last week I finally got down to it. Badalamenti's music coupled by the direction created an awesome atmosphere which I would like to believe was maintained throughout the series. It started off riveting though lost its way after Lynch and Co. had to reveal the killer midway in the 2nd season. But then everything doesn't always go as one wants. That notwithstanding the series introduced me to dozens of quaint characters which was worth it :)
