I saw this preview the other day. At first i was like holy shit is this district 10??? Then i was like uh is this godzilla 3?? wtf...then i saw it was skyline....didn't really interest me that much.

I don't know much about this movie. It looked pretty cool, but there has got to be a plot. Considering that this thing just popped out of nowhere I am not overly confident in it.

Saw the previews for it in theaters. It looks like Independence Day meets War of the Worlds. Looks pretty cheesy, and no-name cast.

Yeah, it seems like a cheap version of "Independence Day". Probably another crappy movie based on old scheme human vs alien.

As already discussed, its probably a a cookie cutter alien movie.
But I have some hope.
I thought District 9 was going to be another Independence Day, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Hopefully there is some sort of twist that makes this unique, I am a sucker for sci-fi movies though, so unless it is universally panned by critics, I will see it.

unfortunately yeah, but i'll still go see it bc I love sci-fi. Sci-fi is such an underappreciated genre. I wish they would come out with more decent sci-fi flicks

I jsut watched it really liked it 7 out of 10 from me in rating.

I really liked the preview personally, but the movie was a real letdown. 5/10 imho
