Thread: RECOMMENDED: Sherlock Holmes

Just watched the 3-part miniseries (season 1) of the new sherlock holmes. A modern twist on the classic. I found to be brilliant! A must watch.
The plots are intricate and smart, and the acting is superb.
Season 2 has already been confirmed.

Just finished the first part. Brilliant! What a smart and original remake. As a life long Holmes fan I was a little nervous, but leave it to the BBC to make it wonderful. Look forward to the other 2 parts!

It's a very nice series, if you could call it a series... Shame there only 3 episodes, but they are 1,5h each.

I had watched many a mini-series of Sherlock Holmes in the past and hence was not eager to walk down memory lane. But reading Sigma9 mention that its a "modern twist to the classic" and on recommendations from WeL & T_Rex_Pete, I'm now eager to see it myself and I'll be watching it soon!
