Thread: The Crazies - Any thoughts???

So, i've seen this movie last night...

It messed with my head... Can it be possible any of those things related in the movie???

The crash of the plane with the virus and any press relating it, the militaries invading the town and burning all the people without anyone from the government saying nothing, no one from the militaries listening to the sheriff, the bomb launched in the city???

I don't know about you guys (if someone saw the movie) but i were very messed up with such possibilities...

I know movies are fiction but with the US government we don't know what to think (attention i love the US only saying that the government many times cover this kind of situations).



So if anyone saw the movie please give your thoughts...

II thought this movie was great. The story line went smooth and of course it was very gory. I think the US would do it to be honest. The line "Lose one city to save the nation" explains a bunch.

my opinion was that the movie was to far fetch and the way they rounded everyone up like cattle without even a fight is unrealistic, and to be honest I think something like this would be hard to cover up

Agreed, I'm sure the storyline was acceptable back in 1973 but after making a remake of it in 2010 it seems impossible and highly irrational that anything like that would happened and stay covered up.

Honestly I was not too impressed with this film. I was having a horror night and I ended the night with this film. It probably didn't help that previous to the crazies I watched Let the Right One In which was an amazing movie.

I had absolutely no expections on this film going in. I saw it before it got a fair bit of hype.

I thought it was really good, check your brain in at the door stuff. Had some brilliant comedy moment's too.

Especially for the 20mil budget.

All I can say that I didn't like this movie . I don't know why , I guess it just wasn't for me :D

Downloaded it, the trailer looks good...we'll see if the film matches up ;)
