Splice - What did you guys think? (possible spoilers!)
I just saw Splice and I'm curious as to what you guys thought about it.
It wasn't quite what I expected based on the previews, I thought Dren was gonna be flying around killing people through the whole thing. Then the ending (like the last 15-20 minutes) was just plain weird. Overall, even though it was not what I expected, I kinda liked it. I thought it was interesting, I suspect I may be the only one though.
So what did you guys think?
I thought it dragged on a bit like you mentioned, i actually believe some parts of this movie were meant to be funny. Which was not what I was expecting. Major let down for me
I've yet to watch it. It looked to horrible to see in theaters but i downloaded it. I still havent brought myself to watch it since i have so many other better looking movies in my library. I'm curious what other people will post here, and if anyone says anything that will actually motivate me to watch it.
The plot is OK in the beginning, the end was so predictable, the woods, old house, darkness - no imagination at all :(
i liked it, although as murka said the ending was predictable, especially after the halfway point
i don't think it got as much recognition, partly because it wasn't marketed well, partly because it was marketed as just another "oooo science is evil, dont play god" movie
