Thread: Movies you thought would suck, but ended up being really good?

for me it's Blind side, I thought it was lame,boring movie it turned good eventually

To be honest, I wouldn't watch any movie if I thought it would suck.

I mean in the first of movie..... you would understand If you saw seven pounds .... it was boring but it ends up very good

Kick-Ass. Went in expecting a lame Scary Movie-type parody. Came out amazed. Great movie.

I agree completely. I thought that it would just be something that I would watch to waste some time, and it ended up being very enjoyable.

"Really good" might be a stretch but I will have to say I was surprised at how entertaining 2012 was. Maybe it's because I'm a Cusack fan, but I found the "solution" to the catastrophe quite witty, and it wasn't quite the Bay-esque explosion-fest I had expected.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - I really didn't think this would be a good movie but it is absolutely hilarious.

The previews didn't do it justice. Saw it once and it was instantly my favorite movie.

I can't think of any other ones, most of the time you think a movie is going to be good that's why you get it and then it is shit.
