Thread: Movies you thought would suck, but ended up being really good?

repo men thought it would be a mindless movie ... and turned out to be one of the better movies iv seen so far this year

I think Kick-Ass was the biggest shock I've had in the cinema. I thought I was going in to watch a teen angst fest and it turned out to be as kick ass as advertised. The Madness of King George was a pretty good film, I was expecting to see a stuffy period drama but the acting was great. Finally I would have to go with Dog Soldiers a real blokes flick. I thought it was going absolute effluence and it turned into a great little werewolf flick, another great cinema surprise.

By Far was Hot Tub Time Machine.....great soundtrack and once you get past the hot tub being a time machine, I laughed my ass off.

I always check the film's trailer before i watch the whole movie ..

so when i feel it would be suck , i don't watch it

first Saw movie , Before i saw it i think it's just a movie about stupid killer or something but it was great , especial the last scene .

I really didn't think These would be a good movies but they was absolutely nice.

Its kinda difficult for me to be surprised coz i read more time checking the reviews of a movie before i watch it
Nevertheless Kick Ass was a nice surprise

When you guys said Kick Ass...You´re absolutly right...I tought it would suck but after it ends i tought wtf...By the way, last week i saw Kill Theory and i tought it would sucks...But its kind of fun actually.
When i started watching Oldboy i tought "Two hours of boredom" but ii really loved the movie when it ended.
