Thread: Best TV series to own?

How I Met Your Mother is good, I just started watching it a few months ago. 30 Rock is another good comedy. Entourage is a good one too.

24, Heroes, The Shield, and Lost are all good. Although I think all of them started off great and started going down hill, including Lost. I really don't get why everybody thinks Lost is so great. Awesome in the beginning then it got old like everything else.



I would say my favorite right now is Rescue Me.

What's Entourage about?

It is about a group of close friends (all guys) in their early 20s. One of them, Vince, becomes a movie star and the others are his entourage. Imagine coming into millions and taking your closest friends and just living it up. That is pretty much what it is about but also follows Vince's career and his agent.

Rescue Me is about Tommy Gavin, a NYC firefighter. He is just a really messed up person, he sees/talks to his dead cousin, is an alcoholic, has a messed up family. Its just about him, his family, and the other firefighters he works with and the things they go through. It is not realistic, it is pretty much over the edge crap all the time.

I'm thinking older people, late 30s+, probably wouldn't care for these two shows.

Boston Legal (drama-comedy)
personal and professional exploits of a group of attorneys working at the law firm

Honestly before this thread my tv choices of things I liked were pretty much Food Network and NCIS.

Now I'm getting really into Lost, and hope to check out the other shows later on.



One for you all to check out is - Dead Like Me, it's a dark-comedy that I think a lot of you would love.

Also, if you didn't see The Colony, it's easily my favorite series that was ever made. Only one season, but the best you're likely to see if you ask me.

i don't see much tv this days but heroes are my fev that's the only one i will download this days
but if you want some good shows then csi is good underbelly, V etc its up to your choice really..

Everyone got to have a copy of twin peaks. And then there are generation kill, it was a good tv-show!

I'll strongly recommend Dexter. I recently watched my first episode, and within a few days watched the entire four seasons. I now feel like a total ass for not watching it sooner.

I only watch these 3, house, fringe, and heroes
