Back when the first season premiered I liked the pilot, going to watch season one on hulu tonight and see if I should get the rest of them.

What's The Wire about? And this "HIMYM" just sounds like a strange title but it seems highly recommended, I'll check it out, thanks everyone.

I personally recommend buying Lost and 24. These are the types of shows that you really want to watch back-to-back instead of waiting a week between episodes, plus there are so many small details referenced in the later shows that you may want to re-watch previous episodes to catch what you missed.

Two And a Half Men, Family Guy and South Park are comedic gold, though lately, besides the latest episode of Family guy and pretty much all the SP episodes, have not been living up to their potential.

i feel any GOOD comedy series should do it. Friends, Seindfield, Southpark, Simpsons.. all watchable many times :laugh:

Definitely gotta say LOST for me. It is the most suspenseful show i have ever seen in my entire life. Every episode is gold and every season is better than the one before. Not like Heroes which started good and is slowly turning into a sh!@hole. LOST keeps you on the edge of your seat the who time, each episode makes you look forward to the episode to follow. The characters are amazing especially my favourite has to be John Locke but all the rest are sensational. It is the most series to date that makes me think and anticipated for the next episode. Each episode presents a new element of surprise and seer amazement and excitement. The one and only series i would buy but thanks to Bittorrent sites i don't need too. Also the last season is finally here, finally after 5 amazingly exciting, bladder busting chairs scraping hair pulling years.

I've been watching it for the last few hours, the first season is good so far, but it isn't keeping me on the edge like the first season of Heros did. I hope that by the time I finish watching the first 5 seasons the 6th will be completed.

i would recommend you Lost , 24 but as they are very long so leave them :)

OH! I 2nd the suggestions for Friends and Seinfeld. Those are classics that you can watch over and over again! Also depending on your age and taste, M*A*S*H and Cheers are also awesome additions to your collection.

I'm really enjoying FlashForward, but it stoped in the episode 10. I'm also liking Blue Montain State!
