I know some bluray movies do have 3D versions. Never watched, other than on movie theaters.
My question is: Are there any scene releases 3D movies on HD to grab?
I kept the awesome glasses when i went to watch Up 3D

There are a few about, I know BHDTV have a couple on there. The only problem is that they wont work with the polarising glasses I think you have. Im guessing you have the ones with black lens, rather than the old style blue and red?
I bought a couple of 3d blu ray and they only work with the red and blue ones, it does affect the colours somewhat, but it is a nice change.
If you want any help finding some 3d releases, PM me and ill do my best to find you some.
If you are looking for a great site to buy 3D glasses that work on Scene release DVD's then here's a site that I get all my glasses from and their real cheap too!
3D Glasses
Concerning 3D on consumer-level;
HDguru reported that the American TV provider DirecT is planning to start the first 3D TV channel in the US from next year.
A specialized HDTV and 3D glasses will be needed. New TV's will come with a 3D converter box.
3-D equipped home tv's are going to be the next big hype item, just like HD was/is a big deal. i think those tv's will be completely different than the red/blue glasses, but for now i believe the only home 3-D solution uses the red and blue glasses. anyone know a store(not online) that sells the red/blue 3-D glasses? i've been trying to play left4dead in 3-D
Hard to say without knowing where you live. But you can make some easy enough, go to an arts and crafts store, a bit of red/blue acetate and some posterboard and your off. This link gives step by step instructions and a template for the frames:

Hope this helps
