    Default Your opinion on the new Wd tv live

    I've wanted to purchase the first one( WD hd tv) months ago, but I've been waiting for this one to come out. Anyone got it?



    It's supposed to have DTS this time around, or at least that's what I heard. For people who have it, how is the 1080p playback?

    Bro,

    I have had the old WDTV which doesnt play DTS sound, man if i had know earlier i would have never bought it.... ive gone through the trouble of finding you places where u can go and find the answer to your question.

    There are two forums specially for WDTV

    I have it and it works great. I don't know about the 1080p playback, but I assume it's good. DTS to stereo sounds great and the LAN works great too. Overall, I give it a 10/10. Well worth your money!

    I have it as well. I have had it for about a week now. I must say it KICKS AS*. It has played everything I have thrown at it. 720 and 1080. it defaults to stereo for audio but in the menu you can change to dts and it works like a charm. Sounds great and looks great on my 52inc lcd and surround sound.

    If you have any other ?s pm me mate. I got mine on Newegg.com for $119, but it looks like the price went back up. I'm sure if you search you can find it cheaper. Good luck.
