Thread: Would you watch if they made a modern A-Team?

I totally agree with the last post, ask yourself this... if you want a remake then do you watch Night Rider 2008 with the same glee as when you watched the originals?



Some classics are simply that ... classics. Remakes just open up forums to tear the remake down. Also, i'm not sure how a modern A-Team could cut the mustard anyway, at least with Night Rider they have new technology to help it along - i say 'help it along' - I'm being generous!

Yeah sure why not if its worth watching but i think Knight Rider was so much Hyped it isn't holded the expectations.

I vote they leave it alone. The characters are what made that series so great and I really dont think they would come close to recasting them properly.

There's no way to replace the original.I do miss it but one day i will own the original collection on dvd and can always reminisce.Even though it's a little dated it's still very watchable.

They could probably not do it better but i would watch it. As you say Knight Riders original version is so much better than the new one.

Nowadays you can't recreate that classic unpolished campy goodness that was 80s TV action shows and movies. Seriously, think about it, half the fun of re-watching stuff from our childhood is to go "bloody hell, I liked some crap back then... but I'll damned if it isn't entertaining!". Maybe it's just me, but there's nothing better than getting together with a few friends, having some beer and pizza and shoving some old crappy Arny films on. Good laughs, good times!
