Please ensure you read this post before you post in this thread!
In this thread the idea is to post movies you feel are great movies, which gives others a quick story line about them. Basically its a review thread for movies only.
There is a strict format that needs be followed here, posting anything else will result in an infraction.
This is NOT an opinion thread, meaning do not post your feelings on the film for example, I like or dislike this film because...Instead just follow the format below. Everything highlighted blue is considered the format, it goes in order like so:

I hope you guys enjoy this thread for what it is meant to be, feel free to post any movies you consider good or great movies. Below is an example of what the format would look like.
I will try my best to post movies that already have been posted this way we wont have doubles or triples of the same movie, be sure to look at the very bottom for movies that have already been posted. I will also try to include the permalink (Post count) number beside the movies so when looking through we have an idea of where the movie might be.

Story line: n the 1870s, Captain Nathan Algren, a cynical veteran of the American Civil war who will work for anyone, is hired by Americans who want lucrative contracts with the Emperor of Japan to train the peasant conscripts for the first standing imperial army in modern warfare using firearms. The imperial Omura cabinet's first priority is to repress a rebellion of traditionalist Samurai -hereditary warriors- who remain devoted to the sacred dynasty but reject the Westernizing policy and even refuse firearms. Yet when his ill-prepared superior force sets out too soon, their panic allows the sword-wielding samurai to crush them. Badly wounded Algren's courageous stand makes the samurai leader Katsumoto spare his life; once nursed to health he learns to know and respect the old Japanese way, and participates as adviser in Katsumoto's failed attempt to save the Bushido tradition, but Omura gets repressive laws enacted- he must now choose to honor his loyalty to one of the embittered sides when the conflict returns to the battlefield...
