Thread: Burn after Reading

Ive watched Burn after Reading a while ago ,and i was like wtf?! Can some1 explain what the story is about this movie?:P. Because me and my family didnt get the story in the film at all xD

I think it has something to do with classified information that is lost and ends up in the hands of a couple that works in a gimnasium then they try to negotiate with a FBI/CIA/Secret Services guy (don't remember wich one).

I thought it was going to be interesting but i only managed to watch it halfway. So boring :P

Sorry, but I deleted it after watching about 10 minutes of it. Not my kind of movie.

It was like Seinfeld meets James Bond... but without the witty humor.... or any action .... or a bond babe.

Holy Crap. That movie is a piece of.... WTF. I'm sad that brad pit was acting on that movie

It's one of those movies that people watch because there are so many well known actors and oscar winners in it. Clooney, Pitt, Malkovich, Swinton, etc.

Didn't watch the whole thing, not great

I thought it was a good and entertaining movie.... but it was of course original. Having brad pitt play a chilled out hippie style guy. 8/10

It was the funnies movie I've seen last year tbh. What didn't you get?
A young gym assistant and his colleague, a mid age woman with a phisical aspect complex, somehow get to think they had they're hands on classified information and try to get a ransom out of it. Brad Pit get shot in the process blabla alot of intense scenes and the reaction of the head of the FBI/CIA:
"- They got killed? OK. Anyone else alive?
- A woman.
- Can we pay her off?
- Yes.
- Good. What have we learned from all this?
- I don't know, sir."
