Thread: REQ Need good movies

Hey,

I need some good movies to watch. I would like some ideas for these genres of movies:

1: Sci-fi (love Sci-fi, but I don't know what movies I should get. Oh, fuck StarTrek. Can't stand it.)

2: Horror movies. I want super scary movies.

3: Very gory horror movies. Just for the gore. These are never scary.

4: Stoner movies. Movies that are all about weed and people who smoke. I've seend the Harold and Kumar shit, Pineapple Express, Half Baked, etc. Any others?

I've seen everything except for Battle Planet. BP was what something I was looking for. +1 rep.

4.) Dude Where's My Car, home grown, the big lebowski. Oh and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. That's crazy. Also dazed and confused.And Pink Floyd's The Wall. Most of the movies by Kevin Smith (Clerks, Jay and Silent Bob strike back). Oh, and I guess you'll enjoy watching most of monty python stuff and Terry Gilliam stuff when you're high.

3.) Gory movies - Try Ichi the Killer, Braindead, reanimator (not very gory), the cell (again not very gory), Battle Royale

2.) Scary movies - honestly dunno. Never seen anything that's actually made me shudder. You can try Audition(odishon) and Haute Tension

1.) Sci Fi - Brazil (Also works as a great stoner movie), Watch Firefly the series and Serenity the movie, Ghost in the Shell movies and Akira if you're into anime (if not you're missing out!), the butterfly effect, Gattaca, Dark City, Stargate
