Yup liked it as a kid "the cartoons" and "comic" on the - Adventures of Tinti.

"Blistering Barnicals and thundering typhoon's", was hoping to hear that in the movie but sadly not in it lol.

Ah the good all days, but the movies storyline was pretty good and did jog a few memories from "back then".

    Will wait for the Bulray.

Great kids movie, will not bore adults either. Especially if you watched the show/read the comics

Sometimes it reminded me of Indiana Jones (thanks Mr. Spielberg......). Being from Belgium (the country of Tintin) I got really disappointed at the story being a free mix of 2 stories from comics.

I am also disappointed that no movie company from my country had the balls to make this movie, but that's typical in Belgium. I guess Spielberg is a good substitute.

I also expected the movie to really follow the comics (always been a disappointment).

That's not a bad movie per say, I was just expecting too much out of it.

Good movie, but it's a lot more cartoony than the series in terms of the situations and scenarios such as the scene where the woman breaks a bulletproof glass case by singing.

I read all of the books as a kid, and the movie does not disappoint at all. I saw it in theaters, and it's absolutely some of the best animation I've ever seen (and I'm a huge Pixar fan!)

I read all the Tintin comics back in the 90's when I was in junior high school, and watching the movie gave me back some good memories. If you've read Tintin before I totally recommend watching the movie.
