Thread: Game of Thrones Thoughts?

just finished watching the second episode and i must say that i absolutely hate the Lannisters'. They're an incestuous pompous deceitful family. I hope they get what's coming to them. Any thoughts on the show? No spoilers please.

I haven't started on the books yet but I will soon.

I watched the first two episodes, but imo first one started great but it was quite a let down in the second one. I am quite sure the story will build upon as the show progresses, but the acting done by few stars such as sophie turner and jack gleeson was quite an amateur show.

Overall...love it. Didn't read the books...wasn't part of the hype surrounding the TV release...and need to rewatch the first episode to figure out WTF is going on...but other than than that...Game of Thones has to be one of the most promising TV dramas this season!

I've seen the first two episodes, and so far I like it. I haven't read the books either, and probably won't unless the show starts getting really exciting. Right now, I like the show, but I'm really waiting for things to pan out. Right now, everything is confusing. I know whats going on, but we don't know much about the setting really so it feels like I'm starting in the middle. Once things start to be explained, it will be easier to judge the show. However, from what I've seen so far, the show looks promising

I have read the books, but understand what you are saying. Things should become clearer, as really the first few episodes are setting the scene, and there are a lot of characters that need to be introduced. Don't worry though, without giving anything away there is a lot of excitement to come, and as the story really kicks off, I expect the pace to quicken considerably.

If you are enjoying it so far, I can promise it will only get better.

Watched the third episode, quite good and better then the first two episodes. Story is building up and it'll probably get interesting in the coming episodes. I really like the character arya stark, acting is quite well considering her age. :D

Guy who played Boromir was what originally drew me to this but after watching the first three episodes, I think this show will hold me 'til The Walking Dead is back on air.

Last 4 years,the best tv show is Game of Thrones.

I really like it so far, wouldn't say the best TV show that is currently running but it's definitely in the top 5. I wasn't expecting any less from HBO :p
