    Default Fringe

Ive been watching Fringe on Sky and really enjoy it.

At the end of the last episode Olivia was abducted.

Im not sure how many others watch this show but there is a thing called the "pattern" and it seems to make lots of unbelievable things happen. e.g reading peoples minds after they are dead

Im just wondering what other peoples theories are.

There are enough twists and turns in this show to always keep me guessing.

Olivia Dunham's abilities are still being defined, but she is obviously of great interest to all groups involved in the project.
Her interaction with both Walter and Peter Bishop must go much deeper than has already been alluded to.

And why is John Scott being kept artificially alive? How much does he really know about the project? Will he ever return to life?
Who is working with who? Will we ever meet William Bell? Is William Bell an alternative persona of Walter Bishop?
The journey towards these answers are much anticipated.

I do not have any answers to the questions that you have, but I am equally interested in finding out what will happen on the show. The most exciting episode yet is the pilot, I would say, and there have only been two or three instances when I have thought the events were ridiculous. Your theory about Walter Bishop being the real William Bell is intriguing.

Did you see that mysterious man wearing a hat and coat? He has appeared in short intervals in almost every episode so far. I wonder what his mission is.

What I look for most, though, are any connections to Lost, and I think there are enough, especially in the pilot episode, for Fringe not be anything other than a Lost tie-in. Though not spelled out and made obvious, and perhaps for legal reasons, some things do add up if thought about a second time.

Don't like this show at all. It's like a bad x-files. All episodes are the same.

Quite honestly, I stopped watching this. I didn't take any biology in university, but any first-year paramedic, nurse or med student would never say the following lines:

    "He's in asystole"
    "Charge the defibrilator to 200"

Normally this would not be an issue and it might even seem petty to some, but asystole (more commonly known as flat line) is not a heart rhythm that you use the paddles (defibrilator) for.

Considering this is supposed to be a science show this is akin to somebody saying "Now we all know that e=mc^4" on Numb3rs.

Sure, some suspension of disbelief is fine and they can't get every detail right but if a show that regularly deals with unusual, often quasi-medical phenomenoa, and will not hire a medical consultant (or a competent one), forget it.

OMG the negativity, do some of you expect every show to be like the best in the world??? OK Fringe isn't the best, but it certainly isn't the worst by far, and there are a heck of a lot of worse shows. For readers that truly enjoy TV and have eclectic tastes, then this program is not half bad.

Yeah its a bit like x-files, but the performances are better than a lot of shows that have been rightfully canned over the last 12 months due to terribly bad acting.

If you like your TV, and have some spare time cus there isnt anything to watch then this show does hold some value. It doesn't make me wanna watch it straight away however, so I build up a few eps at a time to watch them as a block and then it is perfectly fine fodder.

    Theres my 2c.

Thought it was good but there was something about it that made me stop.
