Thread: The Microsoft Kin

I feel like I'm the only one who actually likes this phone. It's small, has a nice ui (although at first glance it looks crowded) and it's cute :) It's a shame they only sold around 500 in the first month and a half. I blame poor advertising. I hope verizon still has some by the end of this month when my contract ends with sprint. Anyone here like the kin besides me?

+1 to terrible advertising. I didn't even know this phone existed until they announced that it was going to be discontinued.

if you like the kin, im sure you will also like the new windows phone 7 that is due out this fall. it will have everything the kin had + alot of other new stuff including xbox kinnect. if you want to get the most out of your kin you should check out xda-developers.com for apps/mods. its still a new phone and OS so there isnt a whole lot available yet, but xda will be where you will find the newest stuff there is.

imo its because its mainly targeted towards teenagers/younger age people who do a lot of social networking, and that isnt necessarily what the majority of phone consumers are looking for..

it does look like cool phone though, although ive never seen it in the real life..

the one part I dont understand is that you blame poor advertising? if I remember correctly, it is/was a highly advertised phone..I remember seeing commercials for it almost everytime I turned on the tv or looked in a magazine..
