I'm running OS4 on my 3G, redsn0w 0.9.5 can even enable the multitasking which Apple say isn't supported, I haven't seen any problems yet with mine.

Now I just need the apps to support multi tasking, bring on skype and tomtom.

Just updated my 3G to iOS4 and so far I haven't noticed much different as far as stability. We'll see in a few.

Yep, still redsn0w beta as far as I am aware... recommended not to use it until a stable release - Hopefully Spirit come out with one soon with an untethered JB for the owners of the 3gs sake (I have a 3g).

On a positive note however, ultrasn0w is now updated and usable on ALL basebands, including 05.12.01 and the new 05.13.04 meaning those with 3.1.3 (05.12.01) can finally unlock!

i realy loved iOS4 on my 3gs with the old bootroom, its really worth it and i havent installed many cydia crap, i actually love sbsettings and lockinfo among other things but im good with only installous for now, im enojing a much better battery life without all the other cydia things i had in 3.1.3

Updated my 3GS to iOS4 but haven't JB'd it....yet. Still under warranty. Once it's OOW, a JB'in I will go. I do like iOS4 so far though. Not really noticed much change in battery rundown. Not using multitasking so much but I'm loving the folders. Also have a Ipod touch that is JB'd...use the folders option on that as well.
