Thread: [WARNING] New Thunderst0rm and Turbosnow2 jailbreak is fake

I don't know if anyone is into the jail breaking scene, or is waiting for the new 3G/GS jailbreak. Today a new jail break titled "Thunderst0rm and Turbosnow2" was released which has been deemed a fake. It apparently claimed to be a untethered jailbreak for the 3G. No one has tried to install the program yet, but it may install spy ware onto your phone or may delete necessary files for itunes. Just wanted to send out a warning to the anxious people waiting for the new jailbreak.

I'm actually really big in the jailbreak scene, and currently, the only untethered jailbreak available as of now is Spirit jailbreak. Still no unlock for 3.1.3, so all 3GS on 3.1.3 are screwed until 4.0 is released, at which point there is already a jailbreak and unlock available for now, they're just waiting for everything. The best sites for the best updates on everything are : Dev-Team Blog, | i-Enthusiast (I work on this one! Somewhat now LOL), and On the iPhone that I know of off the top of my head.

Just use Spirit to jailbreak. Legit untethered for 3G/3GS 3.1.3
