Thread: Swype

Swype is incredible, but it is still in beta and the keyboard isn't really good enough yet. I'm using the german one and there's a bunch of english words (even ones that are regularily used or stuff like "Android") that I've had to add manually :/ It still has some kinks and it's by no means a finished product, however it does work amazingly well at times and I do think that this represents the future of touch screen keyboard usage.

I didn't chose the Legendary because it wasn't released yet when I purchased this. Also I didn't know about it. Looking at it now, I can't really spot any major difference when compared to the Desire... The Evo was the only alternative, but that's being released later this year and I didn't wanna wait.



I don't regret getting the Desire. There's always a better product at the horizon but this one fully meets my expectations and I couldn't be happier with it :)
