iPhone OS 4.0 Beta Out Now for Developers.

Its already leaked at several Trackers.
To Install the Beta you need your iPhone registered as a Developers Phone.

A "real" Developer can registrate up to 100 iPhones as Developer Phones.
So if you really wanna Install the Beta ask me or go to your favourite iPhone Forum Site and you will find a Developer who Registrate your Phone... for example. modmyi.com.

quick question does the beta work on the 3g model ?

It will work on a 3g but the multitasking function
is only enabled on 3gs. And its the only reason to try the beta in my opinion.

i wonder if i can get the beta on a jailbroken touch

The 4.0 beta is very good, the multi tasking and new task bar when enabled is excellent and battery life has improved slightly. But my favorite part is the folders, helps organize all the apps one has. But i switched back for i missed my jailbreaked apps.

I'm a big jailbreak guy, and I have heard some bad stuff about the newest version of the jailbreak. I just can't wait for the newest phone to release. And the stable 4.0, the new phones won't be shipping with them, supposedly, it will release with 3.1.3, which we have a jailbreak for, so anyone who get's the newest phone is set! LOL

I think i am going to wait to upgrading for the simple fact that I mostly use my iphone as a pda and I am not a multi tasking person. maybe one day but not now.

I multitask with my iPhone, I've been doing it forever. It's a great option. Battery life is less, but it's worth it, just carry a charger around. LOL
