The observable universe is 150 billion light-years (1 light-year = 10 Trillion Km) across with over 80 billion galaxies which have over 120 billion stars in each. You think we are alone?

I have vista so it was different. Control panel click folder options, click show all, uncheck hide ext..A quick google search would have rendered your answer..but...
In any folder in windows: Tools>Folder Options> View> Hidden Files and Folders> Show hidden files and folders.
Im jailbreaking it now ill re post when done.
Edit: ok its done with no data loss, all old programs now work again, awesome!

@DJmike:
Normally the name of the IPSW should be someting like this "[...]_3.0_[...]" and before it should have been something with '2.2.1'.
Somewhere in the iTunes programm there should be a button "restore from backup-data" and "create new backup".
First you should try to create a new backup, if that doesn't work try to sync it with the old one.
Have you looked at the Version Number of your iPhone on itself and in iTunes? If you updated it, it should be 3.0, but it can't be from April, it should be from the Date you updated.
As last alternative you can download another IPSW, that already has 3.0 and backup your iPhone with that IPSW. Just search your local trackers, I found some IPSWs on Demonoid.
Now, my review:
As first, I have to say, that the Jailbreak worked really got. No problems, no data lost, everything still on my iPhone.
But there are some Apps that don't seem to support 3.0 or have any other problems with it. As example Evernote don't works no more. Hope there will be a update soon.
What I really like is the push service. Tried it yesterday with a buddy of mine to send us our locations via HeyWAY and it works pretty good. So, I hope they fix the little bugs soon.
