Thread: Windows Mobile torrent app.

Has anyone used a torrent app for windows mobile besides wmTorrent? I like wmTorrent, however I cannot find anyone with opinions about other mobile torrent apps.

If you haven't heard of it I think it's free and a google search should find it, pretty awesome to torrent from anywhere... and the speed (on Sprint in the northeast) is not bad at all.

ummm i think downloading torrents on the PC is more comfortable than the Mobile

Sure a pc is more comfortable, but how cool does it feel to be downloading a torrent on your cell phone from any location... it's slightly useless. But, if you're ever in a situation where it is needed... I like to know I can.

Sounds pretty neat from the looks of it, but I would only use this for tiny downloads unless I had an unlimited data connection plan or if I was using a wifi connection. I'm also not sure if any private trackers support this client.

Upon further research, it looks like wmTorrent is the only BT client for windows mobile right now. Either that or none of the other app developers know anything about SEO. I've tried wmtorrent and think that it's okay, not allowed by alot of trackers though

ummm, why would you want to do that?

seems like the only reason you might want to do that is if you are in a jam and need a song or app etc.. i guess you could get decent speeds if you connect wifi.

Nice they should make an app for the iPhone that can download music and add it to your music library

I don't know anything about a tracker specializing in WM apps, but I guess xda-developers - Powered by vBulletin should satisfy you - they are WM gods and provide lots of high-quality free apps of all kind (not to mention hacked ROMs, etc.).
