    - Let everyone know what carrier and phone you have first.
    - Tell us what are your favorite applications (if you can post a link to them, awesome!)

    - Hopefully we can find some cool new applications!

I'm on Verizon, I have DX and I hate it, NEVER buy a locked phone! I'm currently rooting my phone again, so all I have is Root Explorer, Titanium Backup, Z4Root and Droid X Recovery Bootstrap on my DX. I usually have around 60-70 apps at a time.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S2 on 3UK having come from an HTC Desire just a few months back. There are about 150 apps on my phone so I'll avoid listing all of them. Plus I see that you've already got a couple of my favourites there already (RE & TB) so I'll just give you a few others you might want to try:

    1) Tasker - https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result - It's a way of automating virtually anything that you can think of on your phone. Want your media volume turned up when you plug your headphones in? It can do that. Want GPS turned on when you open up Google Maps? It can do that. Want your wifi to turn on when you get home and turn off when you leave? You guessed it... it can do that. Okay now sound like an advert so I'll stop.

    2) Root Call Blocker Pro - https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result - I first discovered this on the XDA forums and you do need to rooted to use it. I realise that there are a number of call blocking/hiding/cheating-on-the-girlfriend apps around but this is the first one that I've used that integrates properly with the system and can be left running constantly without being a battery drain. Flawlessly executed and the developer is quite good with taking feedback and improving the app.

    3) Location Cache Map - https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result - Yes, your phone knows exactly where you've been and with this you can plot it all on a nice little map. After that's given you a small heart-attack you can then block your phone from storing this data in the future. Also requires root.

That's probably enough for now but if this was helpful in any way then I'll post some more on here soon.

OMFG. At first I thought you were kidding. Awesome. I am grabbing it right now.... Nice app. There should be a link for this stickied or prominently displayed somewhere.

And, congrats on your 150th post pushing you to 55%ishness.

I don't have a lot programs, but all these I use very frequently:

    Video players:
BSPlayer lite - can handle a lot of video formats and also with it play most all video files without any of struggling
MX Video Player - quite good, video player, but you have a little bit faster phone than BSPlayer Lite

    Music player:
Neutron MP - music quality is the best. I have tried almost all most known music players but it's music quality is in another league. (One minus that you should have 1GHZ processor)

For instaling apps for not rooted phone:
Easy Installer (free and easy to use)

    GPS program:
iGO (for Europe it's one of the best). I like navigation and easy to use.

It's been a while since I added anything to this so I'll post a few more that are currently taking up space on phone.

1 & 2) App Extractor & Nandroid Browser: 2 apps for those who are constantly flashing new roms. All but the most foolhardy of flashers should be making nandroid backups before each flash and both these apps offer convenient ways to pick individual items out of those nandroid backups without having to restore the whole thing. Both have things they do better than the other, and while I prefer Nandroid Browser, if you've got room then you should have both.

    3) Lux: The auto-brightness settings on most android phones are criminally badly set. If you're on CyanogenMod or one of its derivatives then you can program in your auto-brightness levels yourself (and you can also do the same with tasker), but for everyone else, or just for those that prefer a user friendly interface, there's Lux. It's really simple to set the levels in the first place and you can adjust on the fly. It also has night-time and star-gazer modes.

    4) Chainfire3D: There's little that as annoying as wanting to play a particular game but being told that it won't play on your phone. If that's because you bought your phone three years ago then it's probably time you got a new one, but if it's just because it's been programmed to only play on Tegra chips, for example, then this is the app for you. Basically it's able to spoof your GPU so you can play games without manufacturer restrictions. It can also make a whole range of graphical tweaks and has excellent dev support via XDA.

    5) Transparent Screen: This is more amusing than useful. Basically it enables you to use your phone as normal whilst also showing you what the camera viewfinder is seeing. So now you can read your phone whilst walking along the street and yet still see the dog poo that you were about to step in. Plus it'll impress your mates for at least 3 minutes.

That's your lot for now. I'll post some more in another couple of months when I plucked some more wheat from the shedloads of chaff in the Playstore :)
