Thread: HTC Sensation - Is the Death Grip real ?

Hi..Can anyone that owns htc sensation, confirm that it really, truly has death grip ? That when its hold fully on a palm, it looses WiFi signal ? Well not all of it, but the strength is weakened to a point where it finds only those strong access points..I`ve seen videos on youtube, people holding it in palm and bluetooth signal sharing music lost entirely, signal was just lost and music stopped..So if anyone has 3 contacts for antenna wifi, where did you get it ?

I don't own one of the HTC Sensations, but the death grip on most phones are very real.

It's only common logic that when you block the signal (Yes, wifi signals doesnt travel through your body), it will have far worse quality than if you didn't block it.

well i have had no problems on nokia C7, but people say that holding sensation in palm will loose a lot of wifi strenght..but yea i know what u mean :)

Id say theres a strong chance of it, my phone loses wifi when you grip it. (Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro)

Almost every wifi phone I have had does that, its the same with anything wi-fi as JonseyBoy said.

but htc is supposedly having problems when just normal placing it in palm..covering the back with your hand..thats what i meant..sure if u grip it hard, cover everything,i guess its normal to lose strength but nobody holds it that way when they browse through the phone.. sure u dont browse on it with phone on one palm, but still, u transfer stuff and u hold it that way :) anyhow..i decided to buy it anyway :P
